Sub-area of ​​creative and cultural industries

The sub-area of ​​creative and cultural industries, which is considered a subset of the industrial area, includes those lands that are used for the establishment of handicrafts, design and fashion, printing, computer software and services, knowledge-based companies and industries, science and technology parks, growth centers. and accelerators and in general what fits in the fields of innovation and creativity are assigned.

Currently, the first complex planned for this area is a complex called "Farabi Thought and Technology Park", which is intended for the establishment of science and technology parks, accelerators and growth centers on the northwest side of Site 2.

In order to take advantage of the scientific and technological capacities of the country, Garmsar Special Economic Zone has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the following groups:

The sub-zone of clean energy includes those lands that have been allocated for the establishment of new energy production farms.

2-Transportation area (dry port)

 

In general, a dry port is a hybrid terminal on the backshore that is connected to a coastal port. It has the necessary and sufficient equipment to deal with the traffic caused by several modes of transportation, including road, rail and air, and customers can send their goods to it using these different methods or receive them from it. In another definition, a dry port can be considered as a place for transferring containers between different types of transport including rail, road and internal waterways as a multimodal container terminal and providing logistics services, customs and other conventional transportation operations in such terminals. One of the most important functions of the dry port is the complete transportation under international regulations, which reduces the transportation time, the costs of unloading and double loading, and maintaining the security of the cargo, all three of which are very important parameters in the transportation of goods, and a country that can meet these standards in the transportation system Bringing itself and being connected to the networks and corridors around it through various conventions of regional cooperation creates a special advantage for itself
